Synopsis:
Golgo 13: the world’s most notorious
assassin is on another dangerous mission!! The Professional is
back in action, this time on DVD! He’s a James Bond 007 type,
but without the conscience, cold and suave, a real
lady-killer…in more ways than one! His current assignment is to
terminate Queen Bee, the leader of a South America liberation
army, before she assassinates a high profile presidential
candidate. The mission complicates when Golgo penetrates the hive
and discovers that there’s more to the assassination plot than
meets the eye. He must now step aside, in what turns out to be a
personal quest for revenge. The hunt is on as Golgo and Queen
Bee’s path cross several times, culminating in a confrontation
laced with violence and personal conviction. In a bizarre episode
filled with action, drama and passion, which climaxes with and end
that’s impossible to predict, Golgo 13: Queen Bee will keep
audiences on the edge and guessing!

Finally, Duke Togo aka
Golgo 13 is back in another anime since the popular, violent anime
Golgo 13: The Professional. People will remember Golgo 13
from the live action movie starring Sonny Chiba, the video games
or the last anime film.
Well, how is the
latest anime movie? Well, the problem that I had is that the
movie focused more on Queen B. Golgo 13 is like James Bond
but his goal is that he is an assassin for hire. To watch
Golgo 13 take on the nastiest people has been the important factor
of the series and video game. Although not a hentai film,
this one is focused more on Queen B and sex. Even the
creators during the commentary were talking about that.
Also, you have to
watch through the credits to see the complete ending. If you
don't, you will miss the important part of the movie. The
creator's said they meant to do that but I don't like it when
important parts of a story are intermingled with the credits or
after the credits are done.
The story is average
but nowhere near the coolness of "The Professional".
This movie is definitely for Golgo 13 fans but for regular anime
fans, you may want to pass unless you are into what I mentioned
above.
