Synopsis:

DVD REVIEW:
The "Macross Plus"
anime OAV series was among the best anime I have seen and when
it first came out, I was quite hesitant because how can they combine
each 45 minute OAV series into one two hour movie?
Well, in this director's
cut...with new footage, they manage to do just that and make it
even better!
The DVD features the
movie in Japanese with hard English subtitles and in lovely digital
5.1 for your audio pleasure.
There is also a photo
gallery but the beauty is the movie and to hear it in 5.1. Just
lovely! The only people who I can think that will get upset over
this is the pure dub fans.
All I can say is that
if you own the VHS version from a few years back and it's all
worn out from watching it too many times, then it's time to own
it on DVD because it's definitely worth it!
