As an organizer, the things I remember most are the 'dealers closet' (we only had 4 dealers that year), The original anime standees (Lum, Bean Bandit, and Ranma-chan), and the 2 dozen cases of leftover soda and chips from the con suite we spent that fall consuming. ^_^ I also remember the feeling of coziness from the central lobby where all the function space was accessed. Today, at the BCC, it's just a whole different feeling. Q: What is your biggest memory as an anime fan of anime past (90's)? It would have to be my time spent as head of OTAKON's guest relations section from 1998-2000, meeting people like Shoji Kawamori, Yoko Kanno, Shinichirou Watanabe, Simon Yam, the members of boa, and the rest of the great guests who came. Plus, I got to talk to them a fair amount and that's something few people get to experience.
